AquaDome Review: The Ship's Crown Jewel

Introduction. AquaDome is why we chose Icon of the Seas. After seeing photos and videos, we had to experience it ourselves. It did not disappoint—this venue alone makes the ship special.

The Space

Walking into AquaDome for the first time is jaw-dropping. The glass dome lets in natural light while providing panoramic ocean views. The waterfall cascading multiple stories is mesmerizing. The pool is large enough to actually swim, not just soak.

The Shows

The evening shows are unlike anything we've seen at sea. The pool transforms, platforms rise, performers dive from incredible heights, aerial artists fly overhead, and water fountains dance to music. It's Cirque-level production. We saw every performance and each was slightly different.

The Dining

AquaDome Market was our go-to for casual lunch. Multiple stations, plenty of free options, and we could eat while looking at the ocean through the dome. Convenient and pleasant.

Conclusion

AquaDome is the heart of Icon of the Seas. Whether you're there for morning coffee, afternoon swimming, or evening shows, it delivers. The architectural achievement alone is worth the trip. Rating: 5/5.
