In the Wake has no affiliate relationships. When a page links to a product on Amazon or anywhere else, the link goes straight to the store. We earn nothing when you click it, and nothing when you buy.

In the past, some product links used the Amazon Associates program. That has ended, and those links have been replaced with plain ones.

Our Independence

We are not affiliated with any cruise line.

In the Wake has no financial relationship with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Disney, or any other cruise company. Our reviews, recommendations, and opinions about cruise lines are entirely independent.

We will never accept payment for cruise bookings, shore excursions, or cruise line promotions. Our cruise advice remains uninfluenced by commercial interests.

How We Choose What to Recommend

We recommend products based on:

• Research — Reading reviews, comparing specifications, checking ratings
• Personal experience — Products we've used ourselves on cruises
• Community feedback — What experienced cruisers recommend
• Value — Products that offer good quality at reasonable prices

We do not choose products based on sponsorship, payment from brands, or pressure from manufacturers. We don't put buy links on health products at all.
