Introduction. Bliss Ultra Lounge is NCL's dedicated nightclub space, found on Breakaway, Getaway, Epic, and other ships. By day it's a quiet lounge; after 10 or 11 p.m., it transforms into the ship's primary dance venue with DJ sets, light shows, and a full bar. Drinks are standard pricing or covered by the beverage package. No cover charge.

Drinks & Service

Standard NCL bar menu — no neon-colored nightclub specials or bottle sparklers here. Vodka-Redbull, Rum and Coke, and whatever draft beer is flowing. The frozen cocktails move fast on hot Caribbean nights. Shots are popular; mixology is not. This isn't the venue for a well-crafted Old Fashioned — it's the venue for a quick Vodka Soda between songs. The drink package is king here: scan, grab, dance. Premium spirits are available at upcharge, but nobody's savoring a single-malt on the dance floor.

Service

Bartenders are fast and efficient — they know the crowd wants volume, not craft. During peak hours (11 p.m. - 1 a.m.), the bar gets 3-4 deep, but the team moves quickly. Expect 2-5 minute waits depending on timing. Drink package holders keep the line moving — scan and go. The bottle service option, when available, skips the line entirely. Cocktail servers circulate the dance floor, which is a nice touch.

Atmosphere

When the lights go down and the DJ starts, Bliss transforms into a genuine nightclub. LED walls, laser effects, fog machines, and a proper sound system that thumps. The dance floor is surprisingly spacious on Breakaway-class ships. By day, this same space is a quiet, almost empty lounge — great for reading. After 10 p.m., it's unrecognizable. The crowd is a mix of ages, though it skews younger after midnight. VIP seating areas offer a slightly elevated view but no real separation from the main floor. The energy peaks around midnight and tapers by 1:30 a.m.
